Optocase.com asks each user to register. Registration enables you to access Optocase.com content, although most cases require payment. When you register, an account is created for you on our server. You may access your account and any information we have stored about you from the Profile button available on every page. If you wish to delete your account, please contact us. We will never share your email, personal information, or test results with any person or organization without your permission except when formally requested by any State's or Province's Board of Optometry, in which case we will provide any information needed to verify an Optocase user's participation details and quiz results.
When making a purchase, you will need to provide your payment information. This information is transmitted directly and securely (TLS/SSL) to our payment processor. We do not store your credit card details (card number, expiry, and security code) on our servers, nor is this information ever transmitted to our servers, only to the payment processor. We do temporarily store your country/state for checkout purposes, in an secure cookie.
Registering for an account gives you the ability to subscribe to our regular marketing communications. You can unsubscribe immediately and automatically from our mailing list at any time by clicking the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of every message that we send to you. Please note: If you unsubscribe from our mailing list, we may need to occasionally send an email relating to account maintenance (such as a forgotten password email) or receipts generated when you make a purchase.
