Optocase Events - FAQ

The regular monthly online Optocase Live events are included in the COPE Unlimited membership. Members should receive an email with information on how to access the event. If you are COPE Unlimited member and have not received information about these events, please contact us: support@optocase.com

Optocase may also hold other virtual and in-person stand-alone events that are not included in the COPE Unlimited membership. These will be available to purchase separately.

The regular monthly Optocase LIVE events are accredited as a ‘Synchronous Virtual’ session by The Council on Optometric Practitioner Education (COPE) for a total of 1.0 CE credit hours. There will not be a testing component.

Attendees will need to check with their licensing body to verify whether this course meets the requirements of their jurisdiction.

For COPE accredited events, attendees will receive a completion certificate for the event via email approximately 3-5 days after its conclusion.

Online events offered through Optocase use Zoom as the technology platform. Zoom supports both laptop/desktop and most mobile devices.

Once registered for the event, you will receive an email with a unique link to join the session. Use this link on the day of the event to join the session. If you don’t yet have the Zoom client installed consider installing it before the session to ensure a smooth experience.

The lecture will take place via the Zoom platform. Registrants will receive an email invite to the session. Please use the link within the email to join the event.

If you don’t yet have the Zoom client installed on you computer or mobile device, you will be prompted to install it when you first click the link.
