Course Description

This case-based course will walk participants through important aspects of OCTs. This course also includes a focused review of RVO from pathophysiology through to treatment.

Some of the topics that will be discussed include:

  • A review of normal retinal anatomy
  • An overview of terminology used when identifying pathology on an OCT images, such as: hypo- and hyper-reflective areas, SHRM, shadowing, etc.
  • Review of the NOERC Method for reading an OCT
  • Analysis of over 20 OCT images
  • In depth discussion of RVO
