Course Description

In this video lecture course Dr. Paul Freund will delve into the intricate world of visual field testing, exploring various aspects and disorders related to the visual system. Dr. Freund will also explore optical coherence tomography (OCT) imagining and some of the analyses they provide. For example macular thickness and ganglion cell analysis.

Some of the topics that will be discussed include:

  • False positive and negatives error rates on visual fields
  • A number of tips for interpreting visual fields
  • Various lesions and their appearance on visual field (retinal, chiasmal, etc.)
